Biography
OLAKUNBI KOROSTENSKY, born 3. August 1951 in Nigeria. By marriage status, Austrian, lives in Switzerland since 1976.
Schooled and studied in Lagos Nigeria, England, Germany, France, Amerika and Switzerland.
Studied dietetics and Nutrition in Colchester and Oxford in England.
Lived for 4 years in Germany und a year in France to learn German and French languages.
Came to the french part of Switzerland in 1976 to study further. Change after a year to the German part of Switzerland. Further studies at the Translators School and at the Linguistic School, both in Zurich. Worked for Telekurs Zurich, Dr. Raebers Handelsschule in Zurich and freelanced as translator.
Changed professional course in 1990. After completing a 3 ½ year diploma course in naturo-pathic medicine, opened self owned naturopathic practice in Widen, Switzerland.
In 2001 absolved a full year certified course in Integrated Solutionfocused Psychotherapy (ILP) with Dr. Dietmar Friedmann in Germany and absolved Trainings in Amerika at the “Attitudinal Healing Center” in Sausalito, California.
In Summer 2002 absolved intensive Course in Solution Focused Therapie (SFT) directly by the Founders: Insoo Kim Berg and Steve De Shazer in Milwaukee, USA. Thereby underwent a Supervison at the Solutions Behavioral Health Group under the supervision of Dr. John Briggs.
2002-2003 :Training in Life Coaching as Certified Life Coach at the Instituite For Life Coaching Training- ILCT, Colorado, USA.
Masters (MA) in Psychology at California Coast University
In Nov. 2002: Founded the non-profit Foundation "Attitudinal Healing" in Switzerland which I now preside.
Have given talks, workshops, presentations and scheduled seminars on my varied activities, which include health, spirituality, energy works and life issues, particularly for women since 1999.
Interests
Reading, writing, classical music, concerts, operas, operette, romantic movies, making jams, marmalades and preserves, love animals, have 6 cats -tabby and ginger ones-, being in the nature, love discussions on health, life issues and spirituality. Some of my favourite authors are: Abdrushin, Jack Canfield, Sonia Choquette, Gerald Jampolsky, Robert Ringer, Catherine Ponder, Joan Borysenko, Dottie Billington, Joe Vitale, Doris Stokes, Anthony Robbins and Viktor Frankl. I enjoy being with my family and supporting people who want to better themselves.
